Summer Review Assignment

In order for us to cover the material for this course in a timely manner, it is important that you review certain material before the class begins.

Students coming from Honors Chemistry should be familiar with all the material listed.

Student coming from CP Chemistry have not had some of the material. Please make a strong effort to learn the material and try the problems. The CD that accompanies the book is very helpful for reviewing the material.

You must obtain the Chemistry Honors book from the high school. Summer hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 8AM until noon.

The following list of text questions are practice problems from the areas I would like you to be familiar with.

This assignment will count as 2 homework assignments. Please bring it with you the first day of class.

You can check your answers in the back of the book. Don’t just copy the answers!! You will fail the review test if you do that!!

It is extremely important that you are able to write chemical formulas and work with equations!

I will spend the first two weeks of school reviewing all this material and then there will be a test on all of it. I will be available during flex in the chem. Lab if any extra help is needed.
