Advanced Placement Chemistry Summer Assignment

Hi budding young chemists!

We will have a fun, but intense year in Advanced Placement Chemistry. It is very important that you come in to the class in September ready to WORK!

You need to purchase your AP Chemistry book during the summer. You will be receiving a text and a solutions manual. The solutions manual is your friend. Treat it kindly. You will learn to love it! You will also receive a Study Guide and Workbook.

During your relaxing summer, you are responsible for re-familiarizing yourself with Chapters 1-5.

You need to read the chapters and answer the questions I have listed below. Some of the material will be more involved than you had been exposed to in the past. I will review these chapters with you the first week or two of school and then we will move on. We cannot spend too much time on the beginning chapters.
