Recreational Softball

Recreational Girls Softball – Soft Pitch (Grades 7-9)

Participants can learn the basics or sharpen their skills on the game of softball. Each day the participants will participate in hitting and fielding drills, followed by daily inter-squad scrimmages.

• All participants are required to bring a softball glove
• Participants may bring their own softball bats (Some will be provided)
• Wear comfortable clothes (shorts, t-shirt), sneakers or cleats
• Bring water and/or Gatorade
• May bring a light healthy snack (fruit, protein bar, etc.) but it is not necessary

Directions to Whitty Road from MDHS

Exit MDHS/Church parking lot and make a right onto Hooper Avenue. Turn left on to Route 37 West. At the next traffic light (Main Street/Route 166) turn right. At the next traffic light bear right onto Old Freehold Road. Take Old Freehold Road about 3-4 miles. Turn right onto Whitty Road and the Athletic fields are located on the left.
