 Dear Parents:                                                                     

Attached please find important information regarding the 2011-2012 school year.  We look forward to a great learning experience for all! During Orientation Week, students will report to school as follows:      

 Tuesday, September 6                                          Grade 9 ONLY – Early Dismissal

 Wed., Thurs. & Fri, September 7, 8, 9                      All Students – Full Day

Parents are required to purchase textbooks through www.folletbooks.com. During orientation week, students will receive their State Aid textbooks.  Students may also purchase school supplies from Donovan’s Den, which accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. Students who plan to use credit cards, will need signed parental notes.

·         NEW PARENTS:  “New Student & New Parent Mass & Welcome” 

           Wednesday, September 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Church

·         ALL PARENTS: “Meet the Teachers Night” for Term One

         Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m.

 ·         SENIOR & SENIOR PARENTS (MANDATORY): 
           TRAFFIC SAFETY MEETING

        Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m.   OR

      Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m.

 

·         FRESHMAN & TRANSFER STUDENTS & PARENTS (MANDATORY): 
          TECHNOLOGY MEETING   

       Monday, September 12 at 7 p.m.   OR

       Wednesday, September 14  at 7 pm

 

·         ALL PARENTS: GENERAL PARENT MEETING

          Wednesday, October 26 at 7 p.m.

 There are many important forms here on the Monsignor Donovan web site or under   Important Forms and Information that must be downloaded and completed. STUDENTS MUST RETURN ALL COMPLETED FORMS ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. 

Before school begins, you will receive in the mail, additional back-to-school information including the annual Calendar/ Parent/Student Handbook and medical emergency papers. Bus passes will be sent directly from your school district.  If you have any questions, summer office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 NOON.
