For All Students:
Summer Grammar Assignment:
Please review all elementary school grammar, structure and usage rules to prepare for the coming school year. You may use any grammar book with a copyright date of 2000 or later, or you may use one or more websites.
These cover all grammar from kindergarten – grade
eight. If you encounter difficulties,
please research the topic in the Ocean County Library. If you find a particular rule or application
challenging beyond your research, please avail
yourself of The English Department assistance during Flex the first two weeks
of the term.
Students will demonstrate mastery of this work during the third or fourth week of English class. Each student must pass the assessment as a minimum requirement of the course.
