To tell a tale of hardships past

The Trojan hero starts his ode;

To the African Queen his retelling did cast

Not one of victory but of woe.

The horse of wood left alone on the shore,

Young Sinon to offer this gift to the gods;

Lacoon objects and quickly ignores,

His fate to a serpent with quickness.

The walls of Troy the horse did enter,

The Greek soldiers lay hidden inside;

In the dead of night the men moved from its center,

To move the city gates open and wide

Mighty Troy falls and arises in flames,

Savage Greeks did end her glory;

But once again will rise her name,

This is only the beginning of another story.

The Trojans have wandered through

With fear on their minds
